Job Description
For OT INCHARGE & TECHNICIAN:-
1) He will be
responsible for proper care & maintenance of OT equipments and ensure that these
equipments are available in working condition during the time of surgery.
2) He will be helping Operation Theatre Technicians .
3) He will maintain Theatre cleanliness, periodical fumigation, control of infection.
4) Adherence to work discipline.
5) Reporting of Estrogenic complications.
6) Liaison with other departments
7) Helping in availability of all Anaesthetic equipments and drugs.
8) Any other job assigned from time to time.

DIMENSIONS :
To include:
1) Ensuring that the Anaesthesia machine is functional.
2) He will help Senior OT Technician in checking availability of Anaesthesia drugs and emergency drugs and its expiry.
3) Checking availability of stand by Medical Gas Cylinders.
4) Checking the Central Medical Gas Flow
5) Checking closed Anaesthesia circuit for its working condition
6) Helping in positioning of the patient for respective surgeries. (with table accessories, IV stands, tourniquet)
7) Helping the circulatory nurse for preparation of the patient for surgery.
8) Helping in shifting the patient to the respective wards / room.
To include:
