Designation Quality Engineer - Automotive Sheet Metal Hiring For Manufaturing Job Description Summary of Responsibilities The Intermediate Quality Engineer is an integral Cross Functional Team member on the current production team. This team is responsible for all activities from current production, taking over new project from APQP team, Engineering Changes, Customer Concern and Internal Quality improvement, 8D, Containment Plan, and Fast Response Team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support Production team for the internal Quality concern, customer concern, 8D, Fast Response Board update. Co-ordinate all the containment action plan at Customer, internal and tier2 supplier level to ensure that customer is protected from risk. Support the customer and the team with innovation, lessons learned and best practices to help them plan for our joint success Own the responsibility for coordinating all quality activities throughout the plant. Update customer concern on website to provide on time response. Schedule your activities to support all meetings and reviews. Responsible for closing all the issues on Fast Response Board on time with deep drill dive and read across approach. Quote and coordinate engineering changes during Production. Comply with the MSA requirements and QMS Control of NCM. Analysis of Daily CMM inspection report and raise alert to the production team for any risk factor involved. Raise Quality alert to the production team and ensure that production shop employees are aware of the concern. Provide proper training to the production personnel to achieve high quality level. Coordinate quality related activities and update QA manager for review with management. Prepare monthly report of the customer concern, Cost of the Quality, 8D Matrix. Desired Profile Diploma in Engineering with 3-4 yrs of experience in Sheet metal/Stamping Process.
